Information we collect

We collect information you provide to create and deliver a gift, including your email, recipient details, memories, approved lyrics, style choices and submitted content. Purchase records can include your submitted policy acknowledgment, policy version, server timestamp, a digest of the lyrics submitted at checkout, payment references and production/delivery observations. Stripe processes payment details; Mementara does not receive or store your full card number.

How we use information

We use this information to create, deliver, support and secure your order, process payments, prevent abuse, investigate disputes, improve the service and comply with legal obligations. We will not use a private customer gift, photo or story in marketing without separate permission. Buying a gift is not consent to publish it as a testimonial.

Service providers and AI processing

Providers used to operate the service include Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database and file services, Stripe for payment processing, Hostinger for email services, and ElevenLabs for AI music generation. The material needed for generation, such as approved lyrics and musical instructions, is sent to the generation provider. Provider handling is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. Do not submit unnecessary confidential, medical, financial or other sensitive information.

Draft recovery and service measurement

Your song story and lyric edits can be stored in this browser tab for up to 24 hours so a refresh or cancelled checkout does not erase your work. Email addresses and purchase acceptance are not saved in that draft. Closing the tab normally ends its session storage. Avoid shared devices for private stories.

We measure steps such as loading the song builder, playing the example, creating a lyric preview and attempting checkout. These records use a random session reference, occasion and nonpersonal campaign labels. We do not include your story, lyrics, recipient name, email, photographs, IP address or full page URL in this analytics table. Browser events are usage estimates, not proof of a purchase. This measurement honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Browser and advertising measurement

The site can store nonpersonal campaign labels for the browser session. When configured, Meta advertising measurement can receive browser and conversion events, such as page views or purchase value. Other advertising providers, including Pinterest, may be used when configured. Availability of advertising measurement does not mean every purchase is attributable to an ad. Privacy or consent requirements depend on location and the technologies used; contact us with questions or requests about your data.

Retention and requests

We retain information as needed to fulfill purchases, support gifts, prevent fraud and meet financial or legal obligations. Email support@mementara.com to request access, correction or deletion of eligible information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, payment or dispute purposes. Do not send full card numbers or banking credentials.

Third-party content

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit another person’s photos, recordings, lyrics or other protected material. Share only details appropriate for the gift and the processing described here.
